Textile of square form with rounded corners with center medallion with pink peony and other floral, leaf and stem decoration in complicated forbidden stitch work accented in gold thread. Border with six blue butterflies at top and bottom with sides with four blue butterflies in total. All hand embroidery work on tan colored silk ground. Textile contained in a glazed wood frame. Overall 7.7 inches square. Approximate textile size 6.125 inches square.
