AUSTRIAN VERMEIL BOX WITH ENAMEL, 1886-1922, W 2 1/4", L 3 1/2":. 900 fineness with the lower right corner of the interior bearing the local production mark used from May 26, 1886 to April 22, 1922 and a "R.S." inside a rectangle maker's mark. The cover having a hand painted image of a small, black dog while the reverse is of a toffee color enamel with a zigzag pattern overall. (rev.20070316)
