Female bodhisattva figure depicting Tara seated barefoot with one hand resting on knee with open palm, the other hand upturned. Poses of hands in the gestures of reassurance. Figure crowned and adorned with ornate accessories. Statue with lotus flowers flanking figure and surrounding border of lotus blossom decorated oval form base. Faint mark on bottom. Height 11.25 inches, width 8 inches, depth 5.5 inches.
