A Victor Safe & Lock Co. (Cincinatti, Ohio) black painted cast iron train safe with gilt painted square band around edge of safe door and "J.R. Clifford" inscribed top front above door. Inscribed on door upper center "Victor Patents" and lower "Victor Safe & Lock Co. Cincinnati, O.". Interior of safe with three wooden shelves on left topped by a key locked compartment, and a single tall opening on right interior. Interior of door with trademark and logo of fiery eagle in round green cartouche surrounded by band of gold with "In Hoc Signo Vincimus 1885" and crown above circle. Safe set on four fixed iron wheels. Key for inner lock box and safe combination are included with safe. Overall approximately 28 3/4" tall, 17 7/8" wide, 18 3/4" deep. Interior compartment 15" tall x 10" wide x 9" deep.
