WEDGWOOD, ITALIAN STYLE MAJOLICA POTTERY URN ON STAND, 1860 OR 86, H 42", W 19",:A bulbous urn with three handles raised on a tripartite stand featuring white ducks with open wings, glazed burgundy red and golden yellow with fine black veining. No apparent marks on the urn. Signed "WEDGWOOD" with letter code "PRO" inside stand base, in the manner of the post Wedgwood - Bentley partnership; Wedgwood date letter code "O" designates either 1860 of 1886 as the letters were repeated starting with the letter "O" in 1860 and going through the alphabet through 1907. after 1907 the first letter (month) of the three, became a number.
