HAROLD VON SCHMIDT (AMERICAN 1893-1982), GOUACHE, 5 3/4" X 4" SIGHT, BI-PLANE IN THE SKY:Unsigned; as part of a birthday present to his daughter, Joan, with a typed poem he wrote on the verso of the frame. Lot also includes a framed Foster and Kleiser Company award announcement (competition sponsored by the Society for Electrical Development) announcing von Schmidt as the winner for his electrical poster design (Americas Electrical Week, Dec 2 to 9, 1916). A stamp produced from the poster is on the certificate. Lot Ex. Estate Harold von Schmidt via his granddaughter.
