Exceptional carved and painted Punch cigar store figure, late 19th c. , attributed to the shop of Samuel Robb (1851-1928), retaining an excellent early polychrome decorated surface, the original base inscribed "Cigars Tobacco/Havana Cigars/Smoker's Articles", 75" h. The remarkably untouched condition of this figure establishes it as one of the most important cigar store figures extant.
