SCOTTISH "WILLIAM CHRISTIE-LAURENCE KIRK" OAK TALL CASE CLOCK, H 84", W 18 1/2", D 9":19 th c Scroll neck pediment with brass spear-form finial above a painted metal dial inscribed "William Christie, Laurence Kirk", the case flanked by free standing columns and centering a paneled oak door. Upper panel depicts Queen Mary's escape from Loch Laurence Castle. With two iron weights and a brass pendulum. From the Collection of Lawrence Scripps Wilkinson, Grosse Pointe Farms.
