Pennsylvania silk and paint on silk pictorial needlepoint, attributed to the Folwell School, ca. 1805 , depicting 2 young lovers in a pastoral landscape, the background with a cottage and three men working in a field, 22" x 24 1/4". According to family tradition, the schoolgirl who wrought this piece was Kathryn Myers, b. 1778.
