FRENCH EBONY & TULIP WOOD CHESS BOARD, C. 1900, H 3", W 18", L 18":Chess board with alternating tulip wood and ebony with inlaid ebony creating a border around the perimeter. Each side conceals a drawer, two large drawers for storage of the pieces or two small drawers, and are adorned with a carved diamond motif. The board does not include any pieces.
