Late 19th/ early 20th century. A large rosewood travel box with shield form mother of pearl inlay to hinged lid which opens to reveal ten compartments of varying size holding glass vanity, perfume, and ink containers with white metal or brass lids, the lower portion of interior being a tray that lifts out to reveal an interior open compartment, exterior of box with a shallow drawer to right side with three interior compartments lined in green velvet. Approximately 6.5" x 11.75" x 9".
