DAGUERREOTYPES, C. 1860-1880, 16TH & 6TH PLATE SIZES, TWO, INCLUDING UNION CASE WITH CHILDREN:Including 1 oval portrait of a seated gentleman, circa 1868, 1 3/4" x 1 1/2" [16th plate size], gilt brass frame, in a hinged Union case featuring children at play at both sides, original label at the interior for Littlefield, Parsons & Co., patented 1857, measuring 2 1/4" x 2" overall; and 1 rectangular bust-length portrait of a young man, 3 1/4" x 2 3/4" [6th plate size], gilt brass frame, in a rectangular embossed case (broken hinge), measuring 3 3/4" x 3 1/4" overall.
