Vicente Llinares, Barcelona (Spanish, 20th century), circa 1960s. A 23-key Faventia miniature barrel piano or Hurdy Gurdy, serial #8565, with wooden case in the form of an upright piano with allover golden tone to case further decorated with hand painted flowers, birds, and cornucopia. Piano accompanied with one music roll playing songs "Arrivederci Roma", "Ramona", "Valencia", "Laura's Theme from Dr. Zhivago", and "Think Bruderlien Think", as indicated by by printed program to side of case. Marked to interior of case "Patentado" beside "Faventia Barcelona". Serial number printed to interior and on several removable pieces "8565". Approximate height 17.75", width 18.5", depth 12.5". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
