French, 19th century. A French Louis XVI style giltwood console table with whit marble top, oblong front end and astragal sides, the molded marble top surmounting the frieze with upper egg and dart molding over high relief carved foliate scrolls punctuated by carved paterae flanking the central carved shield, with paterae corner blocks surmounting turnings decorated with leaves and sphericals over the fluted tapered legs joined by lotus molded x form stretchers with large central turned, beaded, and leaf carved urn flanked by large trailing vines decorated with a variety of carved flowers, all raised on four turned feet. Approximate height 37.25", width 49.25", depth 17.5"
