Italian, 20th century. Vernis Martin style three drawer painted serpentine commode or chest with garden scene with cartouche at lower center within scrolled foliate border surrounded by pale blue expanse on cream colored crackled ground. Top long pull out drawer with circular pulls, large long pull out drawers with foliate hardware pulls. Overall raised on cabriole legs with leaf decorated knees terminating on scrolled feet. Height 35.5", width 46", depth 25".
