ANTIQUE JAPANESE SAMURAI SUJI KABUTO (HELMET), W 16":A 20 plate (ken) suji kabuto with iron hachi centered by a gilt bronze, an ornate bronze five stage tehen (helmet peak), flanked by fukigaeshi with floral mon, with three lame lacquered shikoro (neck protector). Hemp lining lined with fabric and trimmed with leather. Measures approximately H.8" x 16" (including decoration). Likely mid-late Edo period; no apparent markings.
