French, 19th century. Burled walnut slant top desk with fall front with later black writing surface contained within a cream and green trimmed border in front of storage niches and drawers flanking a hinged door with oval mirrored front. Fall front top supported on lower section in mahogany with pull out supports above three short pull out drawers with ormolu hardware pulls above a shaped skirt. Lower section raised on four ornately carved cabriole legs with acanthus leaves and scrolling terminating on ball (appear to be shortened to discs) and claw feet.
