GUALDO TADINO (ITALIAN) LUSTRE MAJOLICA VASE, REPAIRED, H 18", DIA 10":Beautifully decorated vase with vibrant colors has a vignette at either side, each with a portrait done in profile contained within a shield like form that frames each vignette. The body of the vessel is elaborately decorated with mythological creatures, having human heads and bodies of beasts, along with fruit filled urns, leaves and flowers. Marked on the underside, in blue under glaze, with a crown surmounting a shield (that has a sash with illegible text) above "Gvaldo Tadino Italia".
