GEORGE III STERLING & GLASS CENTERPIECE, LONDON, 1804-05, H 7", W 11":A round sterling silver stand having four ribbed supports joined by a stretcher, fitted with a round cut glass bowl having an evert octagonal rim with cut diamond pattern. Hallmarks include a lion passant, crowned leopard, king's profile, and date letter "I", with rubbed maker's mark (illegible, see additional photo--two letters "R/S", possibly Robert and Samuel Hennel). Measures H.6 3/4", W.11 1/2".
