STEVE BENSON (AMERICAN, B. 1954), INK CARICATURE OF DRAPER HILL, 1999, 13 1/2" X 10 1/2":Ink drawing on paper depicts a caricature of the late Draper Hill (political cartoonist of the Detroit News, 1935-2009) with a caption that reads "I see my 19 hours is up...". The drawing is artist signed and dated and included a personalized message to Draper Hill. Steve Benson is a Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist for the Arizona Republic. The image is matted and framed. From the ex-collection of Sarah and the late Draper Hill, Grosse Pointe, Michigan.
