CONTINENTAL SILVER SWEETMEAT DISH, ENGLISH IMPORT MARKS, LONDON, 1899, L 8 1/2":A cartouche shaped silver frame having pierced sides adorned with bowknots and floral swags, flanked by handles and raised on four scroll feet, fitted with a conforming blue glass liner. The frame marked "930" at the underside along with English import marks for London, 1899-1900. Measures H.3 1/2" x 8 1/2" (to the handles) x 4 3/4"; the frame only weighs approximately 8.95 troy oz.
