ROOKWOOD POTTERY PINCHED VASE BY ALBERT VALENTIEN, 1882, H 10":A Limoges glaze pottery vase, "pinched French" form, painted by Albert Robert Valentien with a berry branch and butterfly at one side, a berry branch and crescent moon on the other side; impressed "Rookwood" in block letters with an anchor, date 1882, and signed "A.R.V." at the underside (see additional photo).
