LIONEL ALFRED CRICHTON STERLING TEA & COFFEE SERVICE, 1929 & 1930, EIGHT PIECES, H 3" - 10 1/2":Including 1 creamer, H. 4 1/2", approximately 10.00 trz; 1 covered sugar bowl, H. 4 3/4", W. 7"; 1 waste bowl, H. 3", W. 4 7/8", approximately 8.50 trz; 1 teapot, H. 6", L. 11"; 1 coffee pot, H. 8 1/4", L. 8 1/2"; 1 milk pitcher with hinged cover, H. 8", L. 8"; 1 hot water kettle on stand, with burner, H. 10 1/2", 13 1/2" to the handle, L. 9 3/4" and 1 tray 17" x 24". Each piece is decorated with a scroll and leaf motif and most are accented by carved wood finials and/or handles. All are stamped with maker's initials of "LAC" that are enclosed within a rectangle, along with a lion passant, an uncrowned leopards head and the date letter of "P" (1930) except for the hot water kettle that is stamped "O" (1929), along with "Crichton Co. Tld Made in England (or some variant of that).
