WOOD MASKS, INCLUDING NEW GUINEA, THREE, H 12"-16":Carved wood masks include 1 with almond shaped eyes, flanked by stylized ears and animals shapes, white ground with black and gray accents, H. 10" x 7" x 2" (losses noted to the left and right sides-evident in photo); 1 New Guinea dance mask, Sepik River area, H.16" x 6" x 3" (minor wear); and 1 other mask inset with shells, gilt metal and beads, bordered in feathers, labeled "Gitau" on the reverse, W.13" overall (several loose beads). Mid 20th century.
