English, 19th century. A stained wood walking stick of cylindrical form having worn brass collar and handle in the form of a working cannon or gun, the collar inscribed "William S. Greene" for the owner, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1898-1924, with a wrapped rope form decoration above inscription, the cane with a white metal ferrule. 33.5" long, cannon approximately 3.5" long. _x000D_
