Continental School, 19th century. Two miniature portraits depicting elegant women at bust length comprising of one portraying a young woman with large curled quaff of hair accented with pale blue ribbon, wearing pink dress with white gauze collar, necklace, ruby drop earrings and brooch on bodice, indistinguishably signed at right; and a young woman standing beside Classical urn with flowers, seed pearls in hair, wearing dress with floral pattern and lace trim accented with pink sash, unsigned. Each contained in matching glazed oval Louis XV style pierced frames. Framed approximately 5.25" x 4.25". Sight size of panel approximately 3.25" x 2.6".
