USA / PATD JAN. 17 & 24, '65, JULY 11, '65, AUG. 28, '69, JULY 25, '71, DEC. 2, '79, MAY 11, 25, 1880" on top of barrel. C-1880-1883, Hard rubber checkered grips. This appears to be a gun of mixed parts as the serial number is well into the third model range yet characteristics such as the trigger guard and the cylinder are of the second model.
