TWENTY EIGHT:Each is stamped with "Estate of Edmund Quincy 1903-1997"; of various subjects and sizes, approximately 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" to 13 5/8" x 9 5/8". Edmund Quincy was the subject of a monographic exhibition at Hirschl & Adler Galleries, New York, in 2000. Provenance, Hirschl & Adler Galleries, Inc.. Each is of a different subject matter, but all pieces contain figures; including "Man with Accordion, and Other Sketches", 8 1/2" x 11", "Group of Figures", 10 1/2" x 7 7/8", "Two Ladies in Hats", 11" x 8 1/2" and "Landscape Study (Probably in or near Boston), and Sketches of Figures, 9 1/4" x 11 1/4". All contain the artist's estate stamp and are under glass and framed. Edmund Quincy was the subject of a monographic exhibition at Hirschl & Adler Galleries, New York, in 2000.
