Continental (likely Austrian), mid 19th century. Hand carved fruitwood framed sleigh form rocker armchair with shabby chic later buttercream yellow burlap fabric upholstery on padded arms, sides, back and foot rest on frame with shaped rocker slats ornamented on ends with floral rosette and leaf motif joined by turned and carved cross supports with leaf tip decoration. Height 41.5", depth (from back of rocker slat to end of foot rest) 51.25", width 27". Seat to floor 18.5".
