Southeastern Asian heavy, hand carved, volcanic stone figural sculpture in the form of a seated Buddha with urna above calm and peaceful facial expression and ears with elongated earlobes. Figures with cross body robe with minimal ornament seated with legs in lotus position and hand resting on calf or ankle, opposite hand with palm turned upward in mudra position. Seated figure on a lotus form base. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 21.2", width 14.25", depth 10.1".
