CARRARA MARBLE SATYR AND NYMPH, ITALY, 19TH. C., H 48":White carrara marble sculpture is 48" x 23", hand carved in Italy circa 1900. Includes green marble pedestal base Height 32" Width 22". Sculpture of nymph beautifully carved with fine detail to fingers, toes, hair, drape. Satyr is similarly well carved with detail to his curly hair, teeth and goat fur wrap, Overall height of two pieces is 80".
