Peter Max (American/ German, b. 1937). "Liberty Head II", acrylic on original lithograph, signed lower center "MAX". An original lithograph abstractly overpainted by Max, the image depicting the United States Statue of Liberty at center within a rectangular cartouche set within a rectangular matrix of magenta to yellow gradient with teal and blue scribbles and swirls forming a border around the central composition. Overpainting includes the face and background of the Statue, multicolored dots around page, and signature lower center. Framed approximately 26" x 24", sheet size 14" x 12".
