Document in double sided glazed frame to accommodate viewing fully. Front with recommendation for Louis C. Scheibla for the ensigning in the Navy dated June 7th, 1909 and signed by the Secretary of the Navy and President William H. Taft (lower right). Verso with Certificate of Graduation from the United States Naval Academy for Louis Collin Scheibla with signatures on back from military officials and professors. Framed 23.5" x 20.25".
