British School, 19th century. "Flock of Sheep in Barn", oil on canvas, signed lower left possibly "J. Jochien" or "T. Tochien". Painting depicts an interior scene in a barn with straw covered floor and mud walls, with light streaming in through open half door to left, a small herd of sheep and single chicken at center, some resting and some eating, with a sheep herder to background in shadow beside a ladder leading to loft. Framed approximately 36.75" x 47 1/8", unframed approximately 25 5/8" x 36 5/8".
