Front cover is decorated with a gilt line illustration of a lookout with a telescope in a ship's crows nest. Gilt lettering on spine. White ribbon bookmark is bound-in. Slipcase has sailcloth sides and leather ends. Signed by Leroy Neiman on an original half-page serigraph frontispiece and signed by Jacques Cousteau at the end of the preface.
