GERMAN METAL STANDING KNIGHTS, 19TH. C., FOUR, H 18":Miniature Gothic knights in armor, late Victorian. Tallest knight is 18 3/4", and other three are all 18". The tallest of the knights is adorned with niello scrolling foliate and floral detailing, surrounded center mask and cross motif. All are mounted to wood plinths. From the collection of Major Darrell Smith (died 1953) , Hanua, Germany. First six photos were taken in Germany prior to 1950.
