English, Late 19th century. Gothic Revival brass skeleton clock, the chapter ring with black Roman numerals separated by pierced quatrefoils, attached to a single chain fusee movement and pendulum supported on two cathedral-form frames further decorated wtih quatrefoils and trefoil, with gilded figures of Sir Walter Scott and a dog under the central arch, mounted on a oval marble plinth on bun feet, lacking glass dome. Height 18", width 11.25", depth 7.5".
