Landscape painting depicting mountainous countryside with a young woman at right walking toward the viewer along a dirt path with overhanging tall green trees, the parcel of land to left of path full with colorful wildflowers and shrubbery and leading downward to a serene lake or pond at left which reflects the mountains and foothills in the distance. Period framer's label to verso of frame, Manchester. Framed approximately 30.125" x 40.25". Unframed approximately 20" x 30.25".
