Framed Ship's Document, Boston, 1851, one side lists the "Regulation of Seamen in the Merchant's Service"... and several "Acts regulating the shipment and discharge of Seamen and the duties of Consuls," the other side is a signed agreement between the Master, Richard Rankin, and the crew of the ship Aroum or Arvum of Bangor bound from Boston to ports in South America and the United States dated March 4, 1851. 16 x 18 3/4 in. (sight).
