New York blue and white jacquard coverlet for Rhoby Boyd , inscribed in the corner blocks "Agriculture & Manufactures. are.the.foundation. of our.independence. July 4. 1825. Gnrl Lafayette", the top and bottom edges inscribed "Rhoby Boyd", the edges decorated with eagles, buildings, stars, monkeys, and deer, stars and flowers, and masonic columns and compasses, the interior with floral medallions, 96" x 72".
