Brass Dog Collar, England, late 18th century, inscribed John Wedgwood Bignall End, dia. 3 3/4 in. Note: John Wedgwood (1760-1839) was the son of John Wedgwood the potter who in turn was the cousin of Josiah Wedgwood. John did not go into the potting business but lived the life of a country squire at Bignall End.
