Rare Viennese pewter guild flagon, ca. 1575 , with a lion finial on a flat lid with overall wrigglework and trailing vine decoration and initials "M.S.", above a flaring cylindrical body with wrigglework banding and acorn and floral decorated panels supported by 3 lion form feet, the handle impressed with the "Wien" mark, 17" h.
