Small Polish Silver, Silver Filigree, and Parcel-gilt Torah Crown, Poland, early 19th century, marked "12," formed with openwork filigreed staves surmounted by a tier with six rampant lions holding a belfry suspending a bell, and surmounted by a bird finial, (losses, repairs), ht. 7 in. Provenance: Parke-Bernet, lot 87; illustrated Hebraica, pl. VI. Staves slightly bent/crooked. Lacking what were probably enamel or paste stones to the staves and base, some traces of solder, minor areas of lifting, 2 bells missing, solder at bird finial.
