Claude Gellée, called Claude Lorrain (French, 1600-1682) Lot of Seven Unframed Etchings: Le troupeau en marche; The harbour , with a large tower; Le Bouvier; The flight into Egypt; Via Sacra detto Campo. Vacino di Roma; The Wooden Bridge ; and Goat Herd All posthumous 18th or 19th-century printings. Le Troupeau, Le Bouvier , and Via Sacra signed and dated in the plates, others unsigned, many titled in pencil on the mat. Plate sizes to 7 3/4 x 10 in. (19.6 x 25.5 cm).. Condition: Many sheets trimmed at or close to images, most with rippling, soiling, toning, nicks, and wear to edges. Herd and Sacra mounted to supporting paper at the corners.
