Spanish Colonial (Late18th century). Two small unmatched miniature or diminutive paintings or retablos on tin comprising of one with depiction of the Trinity with three Christ figures with attributes, verso with crowned Madonna and Child with Mary wearing long regal red cape, jewelry and holding Christ Child with similar crown--paintings contained in a silvered metal oval double sided frame; and a horizontally-aligned painting on tin of the Adoration of the Magi with nude Christ Child at center flanked by Mary and the three Magi under white dove with star, verso of work with silk embroidery below pierced hand painted oval accent with text on C scrolls surrounding cross within a brass frame. Retablo with image of Trinity and Madonna and Child (to top of hook) measures approximately 3.1" x 2.125". Adoration of the Magi work (to top of hook) measures approximately 3.6" x 3.2".
