A large hand colored engraving from Henry Laxton's "Examples of Building Construction", published in 1827 in London, England. Plate 52 from Part 2: "Philological Schools, New Road, Marylbone. Turret and Roof to Lecture Room", with details of the turret and roof section, a plan of th ribs looking up, a plan of the roof and tower, and th exterior elevation, with scale being 1/2 inch to 1 foot. Inscribed low center "London, J. Jobbins, S. Warwick, C. Holborn", upper right "PL. 51", and lower left "11 - 51". Framed 36" x 30.5", unframed sight size 25" x 20".
