Etching on paper, plate size 18 5/8 x 39 1/8 in. (47.0 x 99.7 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Tears, creases, rippling, toning, staining, soiling, sheet with piercing. N.B. This print depicts the process of reclaiming the Colonna Antonina in Rome, which had been rediscovered in 1703 and was raised from the ground by Francesco Fontana (1668–1708) in 1705.
