Hoevenaar Silver Pair-cased Watch, Leyden, c. 1760, the raised decorated case with central depiction of a domestic scene opens to the porcelain Roman numeral dial with arcaded minute ring, pierced gilt brass hands, swing-out movement marked Hoevenaar Leyden with crown wheel escapement, fully pierced balance cock and foot, chain fusee, tulip pillars, silvered regulation dial and decorative chain with paste stones and letter seal, 57 mm.
