Ltd., Glasgow, Scotland, c. 1840, with fully glazed lower door, brass bezel with beveled dial glass, 11-in. painted iron Roman numeral dial marked with maker's name as above and Glasgow, Greenock & Liverpool , temperature compensating pendulum with invar rod and heavy brass disc ball, original movement replaced with dial mounted electric movement, ht. 40 1/2 in.
