Mary Cassatt (American, 1843-1926) Margot Wearing a Large Bonnet, Seated in an Armchair, c. 1904, edition probably of 50 (Breeskin, 192). Signed and inscribed "Mary Cassatt no 9." in pencil l.r. Drypoint on laid paper with VANDERLEY and crest-form watermarks, plate size 11 7/8 x 9 1/2 in. (30.2 x 24.0 cm), framed. Condition: Margins 1 1/2 inches or more with deckled edges, toning, mat burn, scattered fox marks, losses to edges near upper corners, repaired tears, printing flaws, pencil annotations along the lower edge.
